As you probably know Clickbank provides an easy to setup service for receiving payments for your digital products worldwide. One problem faced by many companies however is how to provide a secure way to deliver digital goods (software, eBooks, art etc) after a successful transaction. The LinkLock Clickbank system provides the solution and is custom written for use with Clickbank.
After a successful purchase Clickbank calls the protected thank you page (download page) which then verifies the transaction using Clickbank's proof of purchase feature and LinkLock's proprietary security system. If the transaction is verified LinkLock will then display the download links for your products. Alternatively the thank you page can request the email address and any other details about the user and then email the secure links. This way you can be sure to have accurate contact details. There is no way to bypass Clickbank, so only the purchaser can get to the thank you page and download links. The purchaser cannot bookmark the thank you page URL and reuse it or share it with others. The MD5 hashed (not simply scrambled) download links do not show the location of the file on your server and can be set to expire between 1 minute and several years later (or never expire). We think that LinkLock provides the highest level of security available for use with Clickbank.
